Well, I finally got to work on the car about 2 this afternoon. About 6:30 or so, I got to start her up! Purrs like a kitten! I had the valve covers off to do the rockers while running, so now I've got to pull the a/c bracket and get the vavle covers back on.... :(
Then a lot of cleaning up in the garage, and some driving around to see how it really runs. No codes, so that's good. No funny noises, it seems to be idling pretty smooth, but it's hard to tell.
I'll make the final update later on this evening....!
I just drove around the block a bit (it's 2 in the morning!) and it seems to run perfectly! Idles nice and smooth, revs just as good as ever! I didn't get on it too much, but did take it out on a piece of hiway near me. I went to about 70 or so, and hit about 4000 rpm. Ran great! :D
I want to thank the people that helped me again......
Joel ~ Who came bright and early Saturday morning and jumped right in.
Gary ~ Got here about lunch time Saturday and got us really going!
Brian ~ Stopped by to say hi, but turned a wrench or two while he was here.
Jenn ~ For making her husband come over! And for letting me drive the ruby to get parts!
Roy & Mary ~ For stopping by giving moral support!
Especially my wife and kids who didn't see me at all for the last few days. She puts up with a lot of my car stuff and I love her for making this as easy as possible on me.
So that's it! Looks like Bowling Green Here I Come!!!!!
