crossfire fuel pressure regulator adjustment
I have read here that the FPR on an 84 crossfire can be adjusted. There is a plate or something that is on the fuel tower that can be drilled out and then the FPR is adustable.
where is this plate? Does anyone have a picture?

Remove the top of the rear injector tower.
Flip it over and remove the FPR. (4 more torx screws)
You will see that there is a threaded rod the center that holds "up" a platform that the spring purches on.
You can either shim the spring with the appropriate washers or better, grind or bust the weld that is securing the threaded rod, then you can adjjst it by turning the rod. This eases adjustment, as you need not remove the regulator for future adjustments. Turn the rod counter clockwise to increase pressure.

You need to add a gauge between the intakes. Many people and websites have recommended a hard pipe or welding some fittings in. I just bought some flexible high temperature fuel hose. And put a fuel pressure gauge in between.
