Default Info on ABS Module/Pump Access

Hi,
I have a 92 LT1 trying to find brake fluid leak from the ABS Module/Pump area. There is a visible leaks/drip from the line junction going up into the ABS Module/Pump.

How do you access the ABS Module/Pump? Looking from under the car there appears to be an access plate/brake bracket secured by nuts.

Any help/info would be appreciated.

Thanks and regards,

The cover behind the driver's seat (looks like the passenger side storage cover can be opened by removing a screw in the center of the forward edge. Pull the front edge of the carpet back some and you will see the screw.

The ABS module is in that compartment. If there is fluid visible from under the car, chances are the bottom of the compartment is soaked with brake fluid. No real easy way to get it out; either drill a hole into the compartment (be careful you don't drill int to the module ) and use a rubber plug in the hole after it drains, or use rags to soak up the fluid from the top.

Hi c4cruiser,

The compartment is dry and dusty. Looks like one of the lines is leaking in the area between the compartment and were they 90 deg route together at the bottom.

What is the procedure for repair/replacement?

Thanks and regards,
