I am considering installing a new clutch in my 94, Does anyone have any advice regarding clutch purchase, and especially adivice on install tips. The car has over 100,000 miles on it and before I start doing any performance enhancements I was going to make sure the clutch/tranny is in good shape.
I did the clutch in my LT4 this weekend. It tok me about 8-9 hrs working alone. I bought a stock replacement from a place locally. It is made by LOK and has the same Valeo pressure plate as the original. I paid $265.00 for the disc, pressure plate and Throw Out bearing. Good luck
look up some of my other posts, i've all but written a book on 6spd clutch work on the forum. you'd be amaized how cheap you can do it all...i'm in it under 500 for a single mass conversion, disc, plate, whole deal...and it's all RAM stuff..no junk involved
