2020 Corvette of the Year Finalist (appearance mods)
C4 of Year Winner (appearance mods) 2019
ToledoPro is really your only choice now...assuming you want something street legal. There is a unit for race-only w/o cutout headlight holes. Lighter weight and probably not as structurally sound.
The TP hood isn't bad really, considering it's 2/3rds (or less) the price of a new GM hood.
Beyond that, look into putting something like a Greenwood scoop on top of your existing hood. That would be the cheapest way to gain clearance.
I got a fiberglass hood scoop for an s10 (curve built in) and a tube of duramix adhesive and glued in right on. It has held perfectly for almost a year now with no cracks..it's perfect still.
Think I ought to finally paint it?
Cost about $150 for the scoop, and I'm guessing $75- for the adhesive, plus I go some marine-tex to fill in some spots that weren't perfect. So probably $250-$300 for the whole thing. I get some compliments too.
If you want to know more specific details, let me know.
I also spent the $1200 for the Toledo pro for my other c4 and it looks way better though.
