Default Brake Light Switch
I have 90 ZR1 that the 3rd brake light stopped working. I found the fault to be in the switch at the brake pedal. Anyone have a clue as to how to remove it. It has a long threaded barrel that has some kind of clip on it at the bracket. I have the new one and it did not come with any thing to re-install. the guy told me to just use what was there.

On my 87 I just give it a wiggle and pull it out. Looks like it would screw out but it pulls out. Every 3 years.

Thanks. Absolutely correct. All fixed. It looks like there are several similar switches up there.
