Default 1985 dash cluster

HELLO, I have been having a problem with my dash, It was blinking on and off, It will go dark and then come back on. I have put in a new cluster and I still have the same problem. Can anyone tell all the ground wires inside and out are at on the car. I think it's a ground problem. I check all the ones I thought was the ground. Thanks for any help. 1985 corvette.

I would consult the factory service manual. They have very detailed wiring diagrams. If you don't have access to one, let me know and I'll scan that page from mine and send to you. I have a red 85 as well as a 90 ZR1 and have GM service manuals for both. Well worth the cost. They have saved me $$$ in repairs.

New or rebuilt or ?? The reason I ask is I had a similar problem and it turned out to be the light sensor. But if that is new too, then i would agree it's a ground issue.

Here's the cluster electrical diagram for your '85. The cluster ground is at G201, which is behind the instrument cluster, near the left side of the steering column.

Hope this helps,
Nick
