Default Leaking coolant

My 89 was sitting for about 4-5 weeks without being started
On starting it and it started to warm up.i noticed the coolant dripping on the ground underneath the lower radiator hose area, dripping out of the small hole in the housing the radiator slides into.
I checked hose clamps but it was fine, due to the cover around the radiator I cannot see where it coming from....Is it common for the plastic drain plug in the radiator to leak?? I checked and seemed tight..
Any suggestions this radiator is only a couple of years old.

drain plug shouldn't leak unless it was overtightened.

the plastic end tanks are prone to cracking, so I'd have to be suspicious of that.

Also can be the gasket between the core and an end tank, or the core itself (not likely unless damaged or poorly maintained)

Is it all-aluminum or is it the one with the plastic side tanks? One of the tanks could have started separating and lost its seal.

Get a coolant system pressure tester and press it up to the pressure stated on the cap. This will help you find where it's coming from.
