Best Opti replacement?
What is the best replacement optispark unit ? MSD, Accel, AC Delco, other ?
What's the best value high quality replacement or should I just stick with the OEM AC Delco vented unit ?

I still have the original distributor on my LT4 engine. I bought the Vette new in April 1996. About seven (7) years ago (2004 or 2005), I was experiencing a high RPM miss. I pulled off the cap and discovered the two (2) distributor rotor screws sitting at the bottom of the distributor. The cap sits very close to the top of the rotor. Even with the screws missing, my engine would start and run pretty good!
I bought the Accel Cap & Rotor kit.
At this time I have over 126,000 miles on my Vette and the engine is running perfectly and very strong.
I have helped out Chris at several big Vette shows where he holds seminars. He is a real stand-up guy and the Opti unit he put together is, in my humble opinion, the BEST I have seen.
