I have completely rebuilt my 1995, Lt-1, Vin P, Coupe. The only mod is the removal if the FX-3 control module and replacement with conventional Bilsteins. Two different tuners have recommended just Flashing the ECM to the Vin #, a $50 service by the largest A C Delco supplier in the area. I had asked them to remove any changes installed by the previous 2 owners. Car has 83K. I'm looking for long range and run time reliability. What is your opinion of such a flash? The A C Delco Flash does not save the existing Tune, what ever that is.
slight correction PCM. so you would like to program the PCM with the factory Bin and the VIN
number is not correct??? on your current flash. the PO could have asked the tuner to read and save the factory bin... very easy to accomplish this task. if you have the software and OBD1 to USB cable.. best & safest way purchasing a stand alone program harness to prevent connection loss.. = A nightmare
