What is the difference?
What is the difference in performance gains, in terms of performance replacement mufflers vs. a total cat back system. Are the other parts used lager in diameter then the stock parts? :confused:

This will depend on the quality of the system you buy. There are many options here, pipe size, mandrel bends, crossover pipes. The cat-back idea is mainly a convienience thing for the D.I.Y.er. You can always buy mufflers and have the remainder of your exhaust fabricated. I did. I put LT1 mufflers on mine, for looks mainly. Its really about what you like. I guess Corsa or borlas cat back system would likely give the biggest gain. :cheers:

its just a convenience thing, the catback systems usually include a larger rear y-pipe than stock so you may as well
