Hey David,
I've got a post over on the Z06 board re: fluid leak from the differential of my 02 Z06 with 109 miles on it.
Are you familiar with this problem?
Is it easy to fix, spelled "can any dealer tech fix it without screwing up 6 more things?
I'm about 150-175 miles from you. (Columbus)..Bill Heard land although I didn't buy it there.
It hasn't leaked enough that I can't drive it.
Looks like 6 to 7 ounces have leaked on the floor.
I'm scheduled to let the local Bill Heard dealer in Columbus look at it in the morning.
I'm a little leary of leaving this with Bill Heard.
This engine still hasn't seen the high side of 3000 RPM and 70 MPH just once.
The Tech Writer said he hadn't heard of this problem before.
Guess he doesn't read the forum here.
I asked if there were any TSBs on it and he said no.
It seems SEVERAL 01' Z06s and several 02 Z06s have experienced this same problem.
If it was YOURS, would you drive it to Atlanta to YOUR place to get it fixed?
What should I do, pray a lot they don't become pedophiles with my baby?
