Thinking Fuel issue need help
92 LT1. Last fall mashed pedal to floor , while winding it out engine popped back loudly and cut out but didnt stall, nasty smell for several miles. While garaged all winter started periodicly, one time was revving and it popped again , stalled and wouldn't restart. Just took out, ran 30 miles then started bogging down while pushing it, like it was running out of gas. Almost home, it quit and wont restart.
Thoughts ? Fuel service light ON dash display.

I assuming it has a fuel in the car, because you stored it with a full tank right? Do you have fuel pressure? The schrader valve is on the pass. side fuel rail....you might borrow a gauge from the parts stores if you don't have one?
Treat it as a NO start and diagnose accordingly.
The popping could be a lot of things, fuel related backfire, ignition, mechanical problem, etc....

thinking fuel issue
had almost half a tank( fuel stablizer in it) drove only about 30 miles and it inhaled almost all the gas.Put fresh gas in it just before it quit.I found a small hose off under fuel rail cover on right side, put it back on but no difference.
