I have 1990 (rounded dash) Z51 5sp. During an autocross event I fried the distributor. Had a small fire in around the unit. Durring reinstall of a new distributor we had problems with the engine anytime we hooked in the cars tach. I had been putting an external tach in anyway that was easier to see. I am looking for recommendations and examples of where others may have put thiers. the only one I have see so far is down by the column and mostly for size reasons 6'3" 265 I would rather not put anything else done the column.
