Default Normal RPMs at idle (95, auto)

What is the normal RPMs when stopped at a light with an auto trans?
Mine is at about 500-600. Sometimes if I jam on the gas right away it will bog down and hesitate. It doesn't do that all the time, just sometimes. Thats not a cool way to beat a ricer

600-700 would be normal for AT. For 6-spd, 550-600.
