Flowmaster Impressions

For anyone deciding on an exhaust system, I just installed my Force 2 Flowmaster system and wow! I'm really impressed with the setup.....nice fit and finish (tips are a little ugly, but look great once painted black), beautiful sound...not overly loud....and a nice hp increase. Although I did gut my cat at the same time, the car feels like it picked up 20 hp easy. I thought the cat gut would be difficult, but for anyone contemplating it....do it! Really an easy job. Took a smallish crowbar to it and was done in less than 20 minutes. I've heard it was a tough job, but I was surprised how easy it was!

Congrats they sound great don't they. :D As long as you didn't chew on the cat chunks you should be fine.

Installed the Flowmaster catback system on the ZR-1, love it. A true bolt on. :D

I am running flowmaster 50's with no cat (true-dual conversion) and no cross-over on the 84. It sounds great!

Have you ever priced out how much that converter costs from GM :eek:
I also have the same cat back, sounds great. Don't care too much for the tips though.
