Default wiring question on an 84

My 84 has been carb converted by the DSPO.
in the porcess (and probably due to an underhood fire) several things have been re-wired.

be that as it may, it actually does run.

here's my question: in the wire loom that contains the wires for the alternator, there are some white-ish wires. Where did these go?

One white wire might go to the tach filter.

Try to get the wiring manual, the color coded fold out page one. That is a terrific book, with written descriptions of how each circuit works. It's laid out by system, not just the whole car in one drawing. I just love that book.

What he said. The modern electrical manuals are a LOT better than
than the '70s. All my '72 240Z had was an double foldout schematic
of the whole car.

And get volume 1 (mechanical stuff) too.

Since your car has been converted it might be difficult for us to know off the top of our head where your wires need to go. Since we weren't the ones that removed them or relocated them. Your best best may be to purchase a FSM from Helms.
