Goes on like any GM smallblock waterpump of that era. You do have to pull the A/C compressor and bracket and remove the belt tensioner..Just remember to us sealant on the bolts for the pump , they go into the water jacket...WW
I will say a prayer for you.

I just did this job......and my last chiropractors appt is wed after the holiday. The 8 weeks flew by......

All fooling around aside, have some 3/4 and 5/8" heater hose, about 6 new clamps, a new lower rad hose with the spring inside, with the hump-shield, and maybe a new "T" fitting that joins 3 heater hoses to the water pump. Thats buried under the a/c compressor and cannot be seen until its all removed. Those heater hoses MUST be replaced. Take a close look at the aluminum tubing (if you have the oil cooler). Its good for rotting thru.
