Ok, let me prefix this by saying I almost didn't spend $8 a plug to get the iridiums. But after spending a day switching plugs, I am happy to know I won't have to go through that again in 30,000 miles!! Looking at the stock AC Delcos, #3, #4, and #7 had all lost the platinum puck. #7 was actually cracked...I pulled the wire off and noticed that the stem was a little wiggly and it ended up coming out in the socket. After putting in a new plug, I could understand how someone might crack it while putting it in!
After the change, I noticed a significantly quicker starting time and something about the idle was a little 'different.' Of course, no real SOTP difference...but I swear the engine feels smoother.
Great quality plug, too pricey, but it gets the job done. I'm happy with it, and if I could go back and do it all over (which, for the record, I would NOT want to do) I'd buy them again. Now, after my knuckles heal maybe I'll go after the wires.... :D
