injector question
did a recent rebuild, using the accel 24# injectors anyone esle with these notice a lot of noice, sounds almost like valve noice? also have some idle problems, using the accel base, slp runners, ported plenum, 52 mm throttle body, 160 degree therm and bored the block 0.030 over. any suggestions?

I think those may be the injectors that are noiser than the stocks.
Since you have a SD system you may be in need of some chip tweaking. You could first double check for vacuum leaks and clean the IAC & bore and reset base idle.

Speed Density is sensitive to mods like he said, you may need a new chip if youre still running the stock program

I had the same type of noise problem after putting in an edelbrock manifold and ford injectors. Found that the mounting posts under the fuel rails where to short and when you tightened down the bolts the injectors hard jammed into the bottom of the manifold holes. The injectors should be floating on the two orings. After you tighten the fuel rails down you should be able to rotate the injectors easily by hand on the orings (they shouldn't be locked). You can shim the rails up with washers until they are free, if this turns out to be the problem.
