Little black box......
There is this little black box behind the rear view mirror, but can't figure out what it is. I have had the vette for 4 years now and still can't figure it out. Does anybody else have this in their vette?

No, actually it probably is the optical sensor for the dimming feature for the lights.
Our only optical sensor in the early C4s is in the dash cluster that I know of.

On the side that faces the windshield it looks like a sensor.

Tell us more: any electrical wires, *****, switches, lights; what shape and approximate dimensions? :confused:
Oh, and don't listen to Sharky Guam, everyone knows the Flux Capacitor is located in the hatch behind the seats. :D

One of the things that I think it might be is the antenna for the alarm that was in the car when I got it. I was just wondering if it was in other vettes before I rip it out. I will try to take a pic of it tomorrow.
