I"m trying to fix a friend's corvette (1995 C4) and its just killing me, doing him a favor.
I've owned LT1s in the past and even an LTCC.
This thing has an LTCC (i've tried two different boxes and wiring harnesses same issue so not LTCC related) I've also tried an OBD2 pcm and OBD1, same issue except OBD2 throw P1361 (ignition low voltage) and OBD1 throws DTC 42 (EST GROUNDED).
The voltage is 13v going to the DIC (ignition module) and the ground wires have a perfect ground to the engine block using ohm meter (grounds to ignition module).
I've changed the whole LTCC setup, checked all ground wires, checked the opti harness.
Could it be these codes are being caused by a bad optical sensor in the OPTI?
Been fighting this forever and can't seem to find the issue, please help!
It is, its showing 3 blinks, but would that cause P1361? I'm not getting any High / low res DTCs, only P1361 / DTC 42. So if the LTCC shows 3 blinks and i have DTC 42 I should replace the opti then?
