Some of the early bosch ABS systems were d/c and so were the parts lines...they were offboard diagnostic and that had to change...so the few yrs of that are truely oddballs and no parts are being made.
Love your early ABS and protect it....its rare. Search FleaBay for used sensors. Easy enough. If you;re lucky you have a Vette salvage yard in your area. Even a pick-a-part can offer hope. It MUST be (in 90% of the cases) the same yr car, same wheel position. GM did not think it was a good idea to make sensors that interchanged with different yrs...so some wheels...ex: 87 left rear may not exist anywhere on the planet except on 87 Corvette r. rear wheels...I cannot tell you which yrs are the odd ones, but its the first several yr bosch anti-lock systems that required its own scanner to read and diagnose the codes. GM demanded later on that it be intergrated and able to be read easier..so the original design was scrapped. Whenever I find a donor car...I look for abs parts first.
I have heard of some folks adapting sensors by altering the holder assy so it would be oriented correctly, but thats up to you.
I've also been told that some Mercedes models from the 80s also used this ABS and that offers some potential parts sources.
I would think that there were a few caddys from the 80s that also had these...but never heard for certain.
