Default 93 6-speed clutch replacement?

Hi All; I have a completely stock 93 LT1 C4 with roughly 15,000 original miles. The car has been driven pretty hard at times and I think it needs a clutch. Symptoms are as follows:

The slave cylinder has been replaced already (by Cauley Chevrolet) and was leaking/losing clutch fluid for some time (it was continually topped off until the slave was finally replaced last year). The clutch feels to slip under 1/3 or more acceleration. Cauley also said that the clutch is in need of replacement.

The car has always run strong for a bone-stock 93. What clutch is recommended? Should the flywheel be replaced as well or just resurfaced? Also, are there any recommended shops/dealers in SE Michigan to perform the service?

Any/all info is greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance!

Depending on your budget, you could probably scuff the flywheel (probably glazed) with some 80 grit sandpaper or something like that, and install a new clutch disc. How weak could the P/P be if the car has an almost new clutch in it? As long as it wasn't chattering the flywheel is not warped.

But then again...I'm frugal (cheap)

Any, call Tom at Carolina clutch, and he can give you the best advice. Pulling trannies is not something you want to do too often.
