I just put new Taylor Thunder volt 8.2mm plug wires on my 93. I wanted to use the factory retainer standoffs and after ordering several different ones I finally found the perfect fit. For the 2 wire retainers that have a 90 degree mount use GM 12132229 and for the 4 wire retainers with the straight mount use GM 12132272. They were larger then the stock ones on my 93 corvette and a lot easier to open and close. Eckler’s carries both but I found the 4 wire retainers cheaper at the dealer and got the 2 wire retainers on eBay.

The first go around i ordered those from Mid America, the 2 wire retainers are what was on my car and they are a pain to snap closed with larger wires.
The 3 wire retainers work alot better where you use the two wire retainer. But they didnt have any of the 4 wire retainers that use factory mounts.
