I just re-installed by freshly cleaned injectors and thank goodness the car started. :yesnod: But I have a problem I need help with. The car has a fast idle, around 1200-1600 rpms. I don't remember it running this fast trying to warm up. I have no codes but obviously something is wrong. The IAC and the TPS were not removed from the throttle body and the TB was not removed from the plenum. Anybody have any idea? S.O.S.
I would always do the IAC reset procedure after pulling and replacing anything fuel-related. It only takes about 10 minutes to do and there are instructions at the "Tech Tips" section. I know you said you didn't pull the IAC or the TPS, but I would still just double check.
Also, are you sure the ECT (engine coolant temp) sensor under the throttle body, next to the cold start switch and going into the front of the manifold either didn't get knocked out or maybe not connected back up? It is NOT the one that reads to your dash. It has a connector similar to the IAT (intake air temp) sensor. Maybe that one didn't get connected either???
Should be a simple fix if it was running correctly before. Good luck! -Matt-
Thanks, that give me some place to start. I don't remember disconnecting that sensor but you never know when you work on it all night. Thanks for the help.

That was a good call, adjusted the IAC and TPS and everything is running fine now. The only thing is it feels like its down on power alittle, a little sluggish when you roll into the throttle. Its in the 60's so I know its not lossing power from being overheated. Any ideas? Well atleast its driveable. :seeya
It is probably a little sluggish because your ECM is going to be adjusting BLM cells for a little while.
In other words, once you have driven her around for a while at all your normal driving RPMs and throttle angles, she should probably seem back to normal.
