WOW! huge difference Jon. I can picture the look on the next deers face when it sees you comin' at it on the Merritt. :eek: I was planning on up-grading my fog lamps since one of them is on the way out. Does anybody have a manufacturer and p/n in mind.
I have them too but I never saw the originals so I didn't know the improvement was that big.
Actually the stock Vette lights are illegal in Finland and every Vette did have Hella (don't know about C5's) lights installed by the importer before the cars were sold to customers. Also cars imported by private persons need to do the swap before registration - I had to do that to my old C3 too.
I recommend this safety upgrade to everyone. They don't blind other drivers when the lights are properly adjusted.
Just don't install 100W H4's in there - the wires will melt. Previous owner did that to my car and I had to rewire them. :mad I've seen this happen with other cars too.

You can actually install the 100W H4's in there you just need to use a relay and heavier gauge wire for the lights. Not only will you fry the wires, but the switch too if you don't do it this way.
