When most folks get out of their Vettes; no one watches where the driver is going, they just admire the car! I have never seen you or know you so I was out of line; there was no sexdiscrimination intent. I am too old for that. I apologize if I offended you but Ii know you have mirrors and you have to believe you are more attractive than most folks. We all look at things of beauty whether they are man-made or natural.
Forget my comment pleas and go back to your car. Stay with Delco when possible. The best engineers and builders are in Bowling Green. They build the flagship car for the #1 auto manufacturer in the world and sell it at 66% market value. Have you ever noticed that when comparsions are done in magazines the Corvette is stacked against $150,000 autos. If you want something else buy it, I don't think money is a problem for you, enjoy your life,

Just to update
I did speak to Chris this past Monday and also did order his Opti.
I'd much rather go with vented than nonvented. The engineers must a learned a thing or two by 95/96.. thats why they went with the vented on the LT cars.
My WIFE will be a happy camper once I get it put in.
I have a water pump that was working just fine that I will give away to be rebuilt or use as is. You pay all shippping costs of course. If you go with Petris on the Opti and he can rebuild and modify as explained in one of your responses you get the same deal, free and you pay all shipping costs. I had to do without mine for about a month and I hated it so I have empathy for your situation. I would like to know if Petris can rebuild non-functioning Optis. I purchased a Delco but it had been sitting in a warehouse without much climate control for some time. I was tolf there was a gel inside them that dried up eventually and this was the insulation for the copper carrying the fire from the Opti to the plug. Of course if this happens it mis-fires, backfires and then quits. Even though the Delcos haven't been exposed to the heat under the hood they are 20 years old. I have heard stories of folks buying Delco and a year or two later they had the same problem. Mine just started the same deal I had last year so I would like to hear about your contact with Petris or expierince with MSD if you go that way.
Good Luck and Hope You Make the Right Choice,

wtf?!?!?!?! Does this mean what the f? If so my offer is withdrawn.
What Opti did you use? Did you replace the water pump? Did you remove the timing chain cover and inspect the change? Does your husband have problems with folks aadmiring his spouse? He seemed aggravated that I noticed your beauty, maybe he should replace the picture to avoid stress and anger. Both will cause heart damage and then you are alone. I enjoy folks admiring my better half. I have no fear that she will leave me. Is all the work done and are you and him satisfied?
