Ok guys, tell me what you think. My 95 LT-1 (standard suspension) suddenly started bottoming out in the back so I installed a used (known to be good) monospring and new rear shocks. The old one had almost no bow left in it. I test drove it for about 10 minutes... Bottoming out again. Anybody else have this problem?
The stock 95 springs (heck, a lot of them) will be very flat when installed, this is normal as they are soft in rate. Now if you had a Z07 spring, then it might have some arch to it.
Very true! It's dragging the ground, but only after I hit a very large pot-hole on one of our "classic" Oklahoma public streets. I may need a good ole Sooner Schooner! Please tell me if I'm not correct. Isn't the only thing on our cars that holds the rear up are the mono-spring and shocks? I cant think of anything else. Sway bar?
Normally the suspensions of the c4s are so stiff it is almost impossible to bottom it out (I never did). Something is not right. Do you have the right shocks?
So... after SEVERAL hours of knuckle bustin and cussin, I've figuried it out! Viola! Bad shocks (new from "the zone") . Exchanged them and now I'm back on the road! Thanks guys for the responses! Gotta love the forum!!!

...but do yourself and the car a favor and *avoid* the potholes, these things aren't really good as 4x4s
I'm kinda confused, maybe its been too long of a day. A spring holds up the car, the shock does not support the weight of the car. How would it be low in the back then? It would bounce quite a bit but I cannot see how it would be too low?
Wait a minute, your bottoming out over bumps and stuff....I need sleep. I haven't gotten much the last couple days.
Hahaha, so your saying you hit a pot hole and blew out the shocks. Nice.
Time for higher quality shocks.
93Rubie, you are right. I think I was bottoming (exhaust contacting grooves) out because of a combo of bad shocks and a very bad mono-spring. Oh these Oklahoma City streets... Gotta love'em! (pig trails) On another note, guys of you are expierencing wandering and bump steer, try replace your back tie rods! I did mine when I had my car in the air and now it is "arrow straight" on the most grooved roads! Thanks again for all the input! I love this forum!
