Default Lowered C4's

I bought the MAD kit (too good to pass up) and intended to put it on after I get my shocks and upper A arms fixed. I only want to lower it 1" to kill the wheel gap, but I getting hesitant about the ground clearence. Will 1" make a big difference? The roads aren't totally smooth like L.A.'s (y'all are so lucky  ). Anybody from DFW or areas that have potholes & asphalt patches are definitely appreciated on this one. :)

Drop the rear first, it may fill both wheels enough to avoid messing with the fronts.

After I dropped the rear 1 1/4" I decided to not lower the front, it looks much lower and handles better. Since I rarely drive over 150mph I'm not too concerned about loosing that front rake.

I did my front and my back and now I wish I had only done the back. The ride diminishes some and you can only drop it so low without bottoming out on the chassis when you hit a dip in the road.

The front is a bear. If you jack it up make sure that oyu have a minimum of 15 inches from the bottom of the tire to the floor or you wont get the spring out.

I lowered bot the front and back using the kit. I would not even have thought about though if the roads were less than smooth. No potholes or anything down here. I have botomed out a couple times. That is primarily from too much speed though. That is good idead to do the rears first and then see what you think.:)

Thanks guys. I keep that in mind when I get ready to do it. Hopefully, it won't be a problem for the occasional 100mph burst. The rear won't sink too low if it is loaded with luggage, will it?

You can always adjust the back up sl;owly until it is the way you like it.
