Default Guys.. It's almost done!

I've been working on a Drag Race Sim that takes your rearwheel horsepower curve, weight, gearing info, etc and runs it down the 1/4mile to get your e.t.

I wanted to compare my sim to some datamaster logging to see how close it matches up to the real thing. Here is a graph of RPM and Speed. The dark lines are from my program and the light wavy lines is real data recored from my 1994 6-speed vette. The closer they are together the better. I am really happy with the trends I am seeing. Notice how the patterns follow pretty nicely, when there is a change in speed the sim also changes.

When I finish this baby it will give us 1/4mile times using our car info and R.W. dyno sheets. We can also use it to find out how much RWHP we need to run a certain time.

:seeya

Will we be able to run it backwards with quartermile times and get an approximate RWHP? :D

Yeah sure but wheel spin will really throw off the values. Also, torque curve and peak has more impact than max HP value.
