electrical problem with radio
I have a 96 and I had a code for an o2 sensor. I had my mechanic do it for and he said the wires leading to the sensor were cooked were they passed over the starter. He fixed the wiring and put in the new o2 sensor. Now my radio goes on and off. never had this problem before, just wondering if there is any chance that the radio feed is in with the o2 sensor and maybe something happened. He is perfectly willing to look at it for free and fix as necessary, I just can't give it up as it's my DD right now. I loaned my fsm out so I was hoping one of you may know. I'll get it up and poke around this weekend but thought I would ask. Thanks

........... I changed my oil last week and now my left rear tire is losing air ... related ? ..... I think not ... lets call it coincidence ............ unless , of course , you have the Delco Bose closed loop radio .............

The mechanic informed me that he had to repair melted wires and the problem then happened so I was just asking if the radio wires are mixed in with the o2 sensor wires loom. Seems a possible correlation.as far as your oil and tire yeah I would say that you have made an astute judgement in calling it a coincidence. nice job, thanks for the help
