Default Track Results....

Well fellas,...I'm a little new to the LT-1/Vette world having owned my C4 now for about 2-3mos. It was a stock '94 6spd when I got it. I added a cut lid, K&N, B&B TriFlo exhaust and NGK TR5's initially. Ran it like this past Sunday (05/19/02) in Reynolds, GA. Ran a best of 13.45 @ 106.92 with a 2.082 60ft. This past week I added a set of Taylor wires, MSD 6A box, and a Compucar "Bag Kit" nitrous system. This is a dry kit. I ran it tonight with the nitrous. All runs were made on 285/40/17 Goodyears. Made both runs with a 0.076 jet in the nitrous. First run I launched about 2000rpm,....the car bogged, then at 3000 in 2nd gear hit the bottle, shifted 3rd sprayed, shifted 4th and sprayed through the traps. Car went a 2.002 60ft, 12.72 @ 115. Let the car cool a bit,...then got ready for a second run. Decided to be a little more aggressive on the launch and to spray it in 1st gear this time as it seemed the track/tires would hold it. Left the line about 2500 this time,....at 3000 sprayed, shifted 2nd sprayed, etc., etc. Stopped the clocks with a 2.006 60ft (hey I'm consistant eh?) and a 12.41 @ 117. I think with a little more practice I can get a 12.20-12.10 out of it and bust 120 trap speed. Currently using a button for the trigger,...so I'm hitting it,...letting off,...shifting,...then hitting it,...which is a lot of wasted time. Not really shifting as fast as I could be either. So I'm probably gonna wire up a WOT switch. That should knock a tenth or two off and add a couple MPH just from that. So far I'm fairly happy with the way it's responding to the mods. The only bad note of the night is my brake booster went out tonight. :( Oh well. Might go dyno the car in a few weeks on motor and the bottle just to see how much it's actually picking up. Anyways,...thought I'd just give a brief summary of my mods to date and their results for reference. I'd like to hear anyone elses similar times and/or mod results. Thanks.

Good times, I'm sure you will hit your goal. I would be interested in seeing your dyno results just for reference.
