could thsi be front wheel bearing shakes about 60 - 65 miles anhour! doesnt shake up to about 45 miles an hour jus wandering didnt do it before has been doing it about 2 months now.had wheels re bal. too jay
How were the wheels balanced? I once went to a tire shop to have the wheels balanced and the technician set the wheel balancer to a static setting. I had to stop the guy and show him how to use the wheel balancer on a dynamic setting.
Also, it makes a big difference what machine you're using to balance the wheels. The best wheel balancer the I know of is the Hunter 9700. That machine does an incredible job of balancing the wheels.
By any chance, have you inspected your tires for any cupping on the shoulders? That may cause you to experience some vibrations at speed. Just so you know, if you do have tires that are cupped or scalloped, that's a sign of your shocks in need of replacement.
I'm with M2001 on using Hunter Enginering products. I would go a step further and recommend a shop with the Hunter GSP 9700 vibration Control System. The machine can correct a lot of problems including out of round wheels/tires, balance, etc.
