Default tough starting at times

I just bought a 1995 vette and at times it starts pretty slow and by slow i mean i have to give it some gas on start up. Could this just be dirty injectors and if so what can i use to clean out? It runs just fine after started. thanks.

If you;ve looked around you;ve seen this somewhere....

"Call Jon"

Yes..the stock inj are probably junk and cleaning is not a realistic option. Replacement IS. Replace with the 2012 version.

Do the basics first. Confirm proper fuel pressure, air & fuel filter and ign timing. Vac leaks, ck for stored codes.

What does your new FSM have to say?
The flow charts are about as foolproof as anything can be.

I'll add check to ensure that the fuel pump relay is working. A dead relay will result in long cranking times.

I had a similar issue a couple months ago. I took it one place they thought it was the fuel pump like mentioned above. I ended up taking it to a chevrolet dealership and they kept in for a couple of days checked everything turns out it was a loose battery cable. So I would recommend you check that first before you spend any money taking it to a mechanic.
