Injector problems
Hi Everyone,
My 8 injectors died on my 90 coupe with only 3200 km on the clock. I think
the result of Ultra 94 and storing the car. Anyway does anyone know if a
1998 injector will fit in my 1990. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The injectors I have are Bosch 280 156 045-750 don't exactly know what these are for but they look exactly like the ones for the 98.

What do you mean they "died"? Is the resistance too low/high, do they leak, etc.?
If they are only gummed up, send them to Rich at Cruzin Performance for a rebuild at $80/set with 48hr in shop time. His shop is in Big Rapids, MI, USA.

Well my mechanic said they were reading between 2 and 6 ohms when they
should be about 16 ohms cold. Another mechanic said the ethanol in the
Ultra94 dried out the rubber seals and shorted the injectors. Do u know if they can still be re-conditioned seeing as they still give a readingon the meter. :cool:

If they really are that low, limit driving the Vette as much as possible to keep from frying the ECM. Good luck, -Matt-
