What are the best fuel injectors for a stock 90 L98 engine? How many pounds should they be? Where is the best place to purchase them? Will new ones help provide better fuel economy (I get about 24 on the highway)? TIA
If your average highway mileage with cruise set is 24mpg I suggest you check your O2 sensor. I just checked mine with the top on and no head wind at 33mpg with 2.59s.
For $80/set you can't beat having Rich at Cruzin Performance recondition your stock injectors.

Your fuel economy may be normal, it just depends on the terrain in the area and how much lead is in your foot. If you are having any starting problems, then look to the injectors. The best new ones for you would be the FMS #24's, or do like 65Z01 said and have yours reserviced

I didn't have the cruise set and I was going to Alabama from Atlanta on I20. I have the 3.07 rear end.

I see in your sig that you have the bose gold with 75w front and 100w back.Is that what they are from the factory, and if not where do you get the bigger amps at?
#1- I don't believe you can have yours reconditioned.
#2- FMC injectors are kinda OK though some members believe there is some short sidedness at idle and possibly at WOT. I used Accel as replacements for my 91 whose injectors also can't be rebuilt and am pretty much happy. They were certainly much closer to my desired cash outlay. $250 Delivered from Summit....Good luck, Frank
Now if I could just get that damn convert lid open.....Ahhhhh

The amps from the factory are 50 watts. I purchased the news ones because the others went out on me. I purchased them at a place called American Corvette in Power Springs, Georgia. I don't have the number, but you may be able to find them on the Internet.
