A/C compressor clutch or coil issue
Hi everyone, new to the forum, first post, long time owner.
So, today my compressor started making a clicking sound, noticed the clutch is vibrating and not engaging. It blows cool, not cold air.
Is this a total compressor problem or coil, or clutch?
What would you do, replace the entire unit, $400+ or parts much less.

Sounds like a stretched belt and a bottoming out belt tensioner.
Try buying a new belt and see if it fixes it.
The belt could be slipping on the clutch pulley.
