im crazy but i have a 1992 corvette real pretty.and i have a 96 has small problems i want to know if it's possible to take the entire engine and computer harness out off the 96 and put it in the 92?any and all responses would be great thanks guys.

It's possible...with enough time and money.
FWIW, the '96 PCM won't talk to your '92 CCM so you'll need to install custom gauges.
thanks man i aint got the money thats for sure.but i love these cars.i've done alot of my own work on work on both.i want to restore factory one and make one a ten second car on a budget.il post pic soon the the one with the side pipes has imaculant interior thats the one i want to put a crate engine in or rebuild for speed.

Actually you can build a budget 9 second engine that will make 600+ HP on pump gas for many miles, or over 1000 HP on race gas with a bone stock 4.8 or 5.3 LS1 truck engine. These engines can be had for 500 to 1000 dollars complete with computer and wiring.
Here is an article by Hot Rod magazine where they took a junkyard truck engine and left it mostly stock and made over 60 dyno pulls, most of them were over 1000 HP up to just over 1200 HP. This was with bone stock pistons and rods in it with one rusted cylinder wall.
There are a lot of guys making over 1000 HP on these engines now with nothing done to them other than changing to ARP rod bolts and head studs and good head gaskets. They even use the stock intake and exhaust manifolds.
