1996 dic not working
question,about removing the dic on a c4 , can you remove the radio bazel and then remove the dic ,im afraid to pull too hard,does it just pull out?after removing the screws?

To remove the DIC:
Remove shift bezel/surround plate (2 screws at rear edge of it, under carpet in center console compartment, plus one screw under forward cup holder.
SHift **** removal is optional - you can pivot shift bezel 90 degrees after disconnecting hatch release and lighter plugs.
Remove upper center vent - 2 screws.
Remove 3 screws holding in radio/HVAC/DIC surround.
Gently pull aft to disengage clips.
DIC is held in with 2 or 3 screws (7mm head).
