Ive been having trouble with my check cervice absasr lights staying on. I had the car shipped from Fla and the shipper crushed a wire bundle to the sensors, its been fixed but the lights are on. problem is the shop says the code shows I need a new left front bearing hub and thats why we cant get the warning lights to stay out. My problem is the car was perfect before shipping and I cant see how the hub got screwed up just by being carried to NY . Is there any way to just pull the sensors and check them out without replacing the whole hub assembly. Im no mechanic but their diagnosis doesnt make sense unless the hold down chain busted soemthing in the front end but I cant see anything wrong and the car goes like a champ,. I do know the abs is not working, it doesnt do its checks and theres no voltage Im told, Hope someone can help Thanks ====Dave

The hub itself may be fine but the the sensor that is attached to it may be damaged. I don't know if you have looked at a hub out of the car but on the back there is a sensor that the wires plug in to. If the sensor in the hub is damaged then I would image that is the cause of the abs/asr light coming on. I don't know how you would remove the sensor from the hub.
