Starter question
The vette started today, as always. But when I disengaged the ignition switch, the starter continued running. It was as if I was holding the key in the start position. The car did crank and run. I turned the key off and the starter still continued to turn the engine, as if i was trying to start it. I had to disconnect the battery cable to get it to stop.
After about 10 minutes I reconnected the battery cable and restarted car. All was fine. I killed the car and started again. Again it started with no problem.
I let car run for about 10 minutes to see if it would happen again, but never did. I killed car and haven't attempted another restart.
Is this a sign of my starter about to go, or soleniod problems ?:confused:
