Just got a set of 96 sawblades (56mm offset) [I believe] to put on my 87 roadster (38mm Offset) I've done calcs and 3/4 inch would probably be right to get the wheels to the outside but, I've learned that most adapters are at a minimum 1". The new wheels have front 255x45x17 (8.5wide) and rears are 285x40x17 (9.5 wide). Currently, the wheels are so far inboard that they look goofy but, I don't want to come so far out as to rub wheel wells and fenders. Anybody running same, what diameter spacers and anybody have 4 for sale?
Thanks,
I have 3/4" spacers from voodooperformance.com for my 87. They have their own studs, are good quality and I've had no problems at all with them.
We bought a set (4 pcs) for my son's '88 GTA in order to install a set of
'95 5-spoke TA wheels. The adapters are fabricated from a 6.25" diameter billet of 6061-T6 aluminum. The billet is then CNC machined for precise tolerances and a perfect fit. Heavy Duty M12x1.50 studs are pressed into the adapter for a unrivalled strength. Chrome lugnuts are included with the adapter pair.
I know they do custom sizes (advertise down to 7/8" but perhaps you can
talk to Andris Skulte (owner) and get him to make your size.
We bought these last summer - looked all over and found this company to have the best price... don't know if that has changed, but I can confirm the high quality of these adapters! :yesnod:
