How do you get at the fuel pump in a C4 for upgrade/replacement? Which pump do you guys recommend. I'm spraying a 125HP shot and am wondering about pump capacity. Thanks.
This is the in-line pump that comes with the NOS ZR-1 kit. It is the same pump that is sold for the Mustang Stage II system with the addition of a bypass that allows fuel to flow around the pump when the system is not armed.
Depending on the rest of your setup, I would just put a Walbro GSS307 or GSS340 pump in the tank to replace the stocker. They are 255lph pumps that will support 550hp easily.
The in-tank pump is accessed through the top. Take off the filler door and the seal and the you will see the fuel tank supply lines. Unbolt that assembly and the whole shooting match comes out.
Where do you guys get these Walbros.
Nobody knows anything here about Walbro, I have asked over her but NO !
I really need your help on this and what is the product number of the 255 lph (67 gph) Holley pump that replaces the stocker......
Why just go for a pump alone? You are only fixing part of the problem.
