I know some of the more expensive coilover system are dual adjustable and you can change your ride height.
I am curious how much of a difference it would make on ride height between one extreme setting to another.
If one were to have a front fascia that is fairly low like a greenwood kit, I was wondering if you could technically have the ride height set a little higher for street use and then "slam it" so to speak when you went to the track to autocross.

It's not a setting like on the shocks. There's a thread on the body, and you put it where you want depending on the springs. Ride height adjusts spring pre-load
Looks like you can adjust it quite a bit! It almost looks like its ready to go offroading in that second picture!
Do you have a guestimate of what the difference in ride height would be between the first and second picture? Looks like it could be as much as 3" or so but then again its hard to tell just from pictures.

3in from one extreme to the other in my case.
But it depends on the springs, but also the shocks.
They come with different length shafts and travel on them.
You want them pretty close to the middle of the travel so the bump and rebound are the same.
The other way I adjusted them as different thickness mounts at the top.
As well as offset mounts to the rear uprights, but that was more to clear the rodends

What exactly makes you say this? is it that much more comfortable of a ride than the leaf springs?
is the ability to take corners at higher speed that much more appearant?
Just curious as to what the major difference was that made you never want to go back. There is no wrong answer. Im just trying to learn as much about them as i can
