Its been an expensive month...

The post below explained the beginning of the path of resolution.
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c4-t...-symptoms.html
Sending unit and fuel pump was a temporary solution (problem #1) - the hesitation/stalling reappeared after 200 or so miles. Other advice pointed at the fuel filter - known for those symptoms. So the Vette goes up on the lift once more... and the filter was still covered in undercoating (factory-installed original AKA problem #2). Thought that might be a relief of obstruction resulting in better fuel flow. Replacement was needed and installed- yet not resolving the original issue.
Once up in the air noticed the rubber sway link bushings (rear) were shot on the rear axle - and had to be addressed next (problem #3). Recalled that when I bought the car in the Spring; the tires were shot and uneven wear was apparent. With the new tires in place, had no desire or need to tolerate worn suspension (problem #4). Bilstein shocks were ordered and installed.
There was a hint of another direction - that was able to be duplicated on demand - DTC 21. Once the throttle reaches WOT the DIC will flash the SES - only a temporary display (Throttle Position Sensor - problem #5). The DTC 21 only referred to the upper range of the throttle, not the lower end... yet it was a notion that the lower end might be affected. Further reading of the FSM explained either DTC 21 or 22 would conclude the sensor bad.
Once the TPS was replaced - the results were positive on many levels.
The throttle response (at all levels) were quick and enjoyable.
The suspension was rejuvenated, snappy, and crisp... not sloppy and weak.
The Vette drives like a youngster once again.

Ironically, the TPS was the cheapest solution - yet the related fuel and suspension components had to be addressed as well.
