1989 corvette question

I am wondering if the 1989 corvette has a traction control that you can turn on when you want or not? I know this is a stupid question but I can not seem to find one and I am thinking it just does not have one.

I think traction control came out on the 95's

No traction control on pre-92 C4s'. The 92 and later cars had what was called Acceleration Slip Regulation or "ASR". It was an early traction control system that would either retard ignition timing, close the throttle in a pulsating fashion, or apply the rear brakes if it detected wheel spin or any yaw motion.

So it does not even have a traction control at all to where I can pull a fuse to deactivate it or does it just plain not have one?

NO traction control of any kind in cars prior to 92. NONE.
