On a 91 does the electrical circuit for the rear turn signals run through the rear brake light circuit or are these 2 electrical circuits totally separate from each other.Thanks.

Assuming it is the same as my '90, there are two circuits (left and right) that are both activated by the brake pedal switch, and then each one is interrupted by the turn signal. So technically the brake lights and turn signals are part of the same circuit.

I will have to check again, but I know for sure there are only two wires at the tail lights, left brake and right brake. The other wires are running lights, and ground. The turn signal interrupts the left/right brake light signals.

I think you are correct, 91 book shows 2 fuses, but one yellow wire left, dk green right, til/turn/stop.

As in most cars of that era, and some today as well, the rear bulbs use the same filaments for brake lights and turn signals. The brake light switch (on the pedal) sends power thru the turn signal switch, to the rear bulbs. The left and right sides are separated at the turn signal switch (or 4-way switch) only when the switch, which is double pole/ double throw, is activated.
