86 Upshift light after gear change
Recently, I changed the rear end in my 86 (automatic trans) from a 2.73 to a 3.54. I used a DAK-SGI-5 speedo recalibrator from Summit Racing to dial in the correct speed and it is doing well. (I also ordered the speedometer calibrator from Ecklers but it came in DOA. I had the DAK and it worked). But now I have a new problem ... the upshift light comes on. Give it a little gas and it goes off. This would be at about any speed over 42 mph. I know why it is doing it but I was wondering if anyone out there knew how to correct it short of removing the light from the dash cluster. Thanks for any ideas.
