Need some help please. Installed Racetronix fuel pump and wire harness. Prior to install the digital speedometer worked fine. Since the install it's unreadable. Fuel tank shows full, numbers are jumbled up and can't read mileage. I find it hard to believe the cluster just failed after I changed the pump. Is there any way I can troubleshoot this? Also, Racetronix was kind enough to send me a clamp for the extra black wire on the harness but I can't figure out where to attach the clamp. They also sent me a 2 wire harness.

And the instructions are still in the box? What was the part number fuel pump you added. The pump and it's configuration shouldn't have any thing at all to do with the level sender. You appear to have likely errored some where!
Racetronix doesn't provide instructions. Followed instructions from this forum
Walbro 190L/Hr Pump
Filter sock - 30 micron filtering (factory=70 micron)
Walbro to GM direct power wiring (no adapters)
Terminal lock
High pressure fuel line
Stainless gear clamps
Rubber pump mount
Pump sound insulation sleeve
C4 fuel tank gasket
Stainless hex-head tank bolts, washers and o-ring seals ( 9 pieces)
Hex key
Silicone grease
I've hear a couple people fuss a little recently about Racetronix, this could easily be a good reason little to no support. If you use their "credentials required forum" for support report back on the results!
I would try to narrow down if the display corruption only happens when the pump is running. Pull the fuse for the pump so it does not run, is the display still corrupted (even showing 0 mph?). My first thoughts are that 1. The pump is introducing EMF feedback into your electrical system, or 2. a loose ground for your dash panel.
